Hostess Thayarni Kanagaratnam, together with all of her staff, welcomes her guests personally and cordially, immediately creating an affable, relaxed atmosphere. Head Chef Thomas Bühner
is one of Germany's best chefs. He has developed his very own style, which is reflected in his harmonious aromatic cuisine. With petite dishes as a foretaste of the next course, Thomas Bühner creates veritable explosions of flavour that touch all of the senses. It goes without saying that his cuisine is of prime quality, and the highest standards are applied with regard to products and preparation. The compositions - at times classic, at others innovative - are always surprising, particularly since the Head Chef and his team constantly reconsider their creations, ultimately achieving perfection.

The two hosts consistently emphasise that the extraordinary service and the restaurant la vie can only be brought to life by the entire team: "Our team is especially close to our hearts, since it is the entire team that determines the success of la vie.
